President Woodard Sends Letter Urging Representatives to Oppose the Ryan Budget

As President of the American Federation of School Administrators (AFSA), AFL-CIO, I urge you to vote against the Republican FY 2014 budget resolution (H. Con. Res. 25), introduced by Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan.

This budget proposal would cause irreparable harm to our state and local governments, and to our most vulnerable citizens including children, students and the elderly. This plan is more extreme than the proposal that Americans overwhelmingly rejected in 2012.
