National Coalition for Public Education Welcomes New Poll Showing the Public Opposes Taxpayer-Funded Vouchers

Teacher and studentThe National Coalition for Public Education, of which AFSA is a member, released a new poll today revealing that the public is strongly opposed to taxpayer-funded private school vouchers, with 70 percent of respondents saying they oppose plans to
shift public funding into private and religious schools through voucher plans. This is the highest number in the
poll’s 20-year history.
