Connecticut Local 22 Welcomes New President, GEB Member

The Hartford Principals and Supervisor’s Association, AFSA Local 22, welcomed a new president, Dr. Sandra Inga.

Dr. Sandra Inga is a former semiconductor engineer, previously employed by Texas Instruments, Inc., Digital Equipment Corporation and Hewlett Packard. After working more than15 years as an engineer, Sandra pursued a career in education – teaching biology, chemistry and physics, in Nigeria and Hartford, CT. She has also served as an assistant principal with both Hartford Public Schools and East Hartford Public Schools. In the last ten years, Sandra has served in various leadership roles in Hartford. Currently, she is the S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Director with Hartford Public Schools. Sandra received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO; her M.S. from Southern Illinois University and her Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Inga was also named to AFSA’s General Executive Board. She was sworn in during the October GEB meeting.
