Jimmy Gittings speaks out in support of AFSA Members In Baltimore

Twenty-two Baltimore city schools are starting off the school year today without permanent principals in place. Most of these principals were demoted by the CEO of Baltimore City Schools, Dr. AndrĂ©s Alonso based on test scores alone. As President of AFSA’s Baltimore Local, Jimmy Gittings said in a statement, AFSA “is standing with its members and protesting Dr. Alonso’s arbitrary and capricious actions.”
