Summary of Bill:
Amends ESEA to authorize the Sec. of Education to award grants to groups composed of LEAs and community-based, nonprofit or other public/private entities to assist public elementary or secondary schools to function as full-service community schools. It requires schools to participate in community-based efforts to help with education, development, family and health services through community-based organizations and public/private partnerships. It establishes a Full-Service Community Schools Advisory Committee.
