Summary of Bill:

Amends part A of title I of ESEA to allow state, LEAs and schools to use school improvement funds to implement school-wide positive behavioral interventions and supports and early intervening services and coordinate them with similar activities carried out under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Amends part D of title I of ESEA to require states that receive funds for education of neglected or delinquent children or youth to use positive behavioral interventions and supports and early intervening services to improve such students’ academic performance and reduce their need for discipline.
